Matt Stewart
Local artist and designer who's worked on numerous trading card sets for the past 10+ years, and has contributed to art books, albumn covers, and more. Drawing from licensed properties including Star Wars and MLB, but also further afield with creating scientific illustrations, landscape paintings, and more.
Johnny Luu
Born and raised in Calgary, Johnny was a part of the indie comic book scene with his friends and formed a group called "Vicious Ambitious". His passion for arts are what drive him, creating and drawing and sometimes video editing allows him to creatively showcase that there is talent and many talents within the prairies. He hopes to create a new comic in the near future, but will continue to create in the various mediums whether it be digital or traditional, creating whatever he enjoys. You will see Johnny's passion through his artwork and his love for everything art related.
Chad Colpitts
By day I work in a warehouse, by night I sleep. When I’m not doing that, I write comics you’ve never heard of like The Streaker, B-Movie Garbage and Pinocchio & Jesus. I’m a Canadian based writer. My ability to draw is non-existent, my circles are ovals, and my ovals are circles. I know I sound square, but my squares are rectangular.
Roberto Duque
Comic creator born and raised in Calgary Alberta. Been a member of the Calgary art scenes since 2011. Featured artwork in Image, Dynamite, Valiant and Printed in Blood. Co creator of comic series Septembryo and Preggers. Will be featured in anthologies such as Alberta Comics: Love and Slice(s) of Life.
Alain Daigle
I am a born and raised Calgarian and have been doing art most of my life. I’m now to the point where art is my full time job. Art is my life’s passion and I am always doing art! Whether it’s commissions, hand building with ceramics or doing fun oil paintings I am trying to create fun work that people will enjoy.
Ljubica Todorovic
I’m an artist living in Calgary, Alberta, and like to create strange monsters, bunnies, and other weird critters. Oil painting, drawing, and digital are my mediums. I also like to dabble with inks, watercolours, gouache and acrylics.
David Boyce & Kasmaya Jaxonne
David and Kasmaya are Calgary artists who've been part of the local comics scene for over a decade. David is the creator of The Thousandfold Path comic, as well as its companion book Poisoned Friendship, along with collaborator Wayne Leung. Kasmaya is the creator of the Blind Eye comic. Both dabble in a wide variety of art and knicknack making, from posters and art cards to pins, keychains and wearable tails.
Francis V
A Local Full Time Tattoo Artist and Art Artist. Loves painting, Tattooing and Drawing All things Horror, Sci Fi and Video Game related things!! A Huge fan of 80’s Cult Horror and Retro Sci-fi. A lot of my Art will be in the above themes, prints, originals, perhaps some hand made wares aswell, I had a blast last year and would love to be a part of it again 🙂
Daryle Winkworth
Daryle’s work spans a diverse range of mediums and themes, from bold digital creations to playful, pop-culture-inspired mash-ups rendered in pencil and marker. Max Henriquez
Pop culture digital artist and traditional media illustrator as well . Expanding to t shirts and coffee mugs , Max Henriquez has been creating and exhibiting art since 2007 , with an ever expanding library content within the Calgary local scene. His art started out the comic pages of his childhood, Max now creates a wide range of characters and scenes influenced by music and games and pop culture.
Jason Neil
I’m an illustrator based out of Calgary, Canada. With a B.Des, specializing in illustration, from Alberta College of Art and Design (now Alberta University of the Arts ) With projects ranging from Editorial, Portraits, Satire, Pop Culture. Past clients include: Vertigo Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects, Loblaw Companies, Axxess Point Inc, Moonbean Chocolate (Uganda), Experior Financial, FFWD magazine.
Kara Wheat
Kara grew up in British Columbia, Canada. She has her degree in Illustration at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and lives in Canada mostly doing freelance inspired by Animorphs. Her work has been displayed in the Student Art Show at BYU-Idaho, and she has sold art locally in Rexburg, Fort St. John Vancouver and Calgary.
Steve Gervais
I am a veteran of many comic and pop culture conventions and shows all over Canada, I create Fan Art, pop culture and comic related work using Digital and Watercolor medium to produce superhero portraits and art prints. I am and will be open for commissions.
Rick Overwater
Rick Overwater is a longtime Calgary comic creator and author. His graphic novel, Futility: Orange Planet Horror, was nominated for "Best Graphic Novel" by the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association and he regularly holds panels and sessions on comic-making and fiction writing. His latest graphic novel, Sky Devil and the Haunted Air, illustrated by award-winner GMB Chomichuk, debuts in April.
Aaron Navrady
Aaron Navrady's most recent self-published comics project, 'The Cold Fire', is a medieval epic about a Norman Crusader tasked with pursuing heretics across the Alps during the Albigensian Crusade. It can be found at thecoldfire.com. Aaron graduated from the Alberta College of Art & Design (now AUarts) in 2002. He has also created short stories for Renegade Arts & Entertainment, Nelson Education, BionX, BeatRoute Magazine and Top Shelf 2.0 (along with a plethora of other art projects). Based in Calgary, Alberta, Aaron is a proud member of Panel One and former Art Director of the Panel One Comic Creator Festival.

Rob Van Overmeeren
Rembranded is the official art site of artist of Rob van Overmeeren. A Calgary based artist with realistic and goofy art. Born in the same town as Rembrandt van Rijn, he also enjoys Star Wars, comics, hockey and world domination.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a vendor booth?

For 2025 our vendor booths are $125 ea.

How much is a artist booth?

For 2025, the artist booths are free!

Can I have more than 2 vendor booths?

No. We only allow 2 booths maximum for each vendor due to restricted space.

What is provided for me in a vendor booth?

Two 6' tables and 2 chairs per 10'x10' booth.

Can I have more than one artist table?

No. Each artist gets a maximum of one table.

Can I make a special request when applying for my booth?

Yes. They can be entered in either the artist or vendor applications. However, special requests will be considered and is not guaranteed to be allowed.

What is provided for me at an artist table?

You will get one 6' table and one chair. You are required to provide your own table skirt per the terms and conditions of the show.

Are the artists in their own alley or mixed with the vendors.

As a result of feedback from our 2024 show, the artist tables are now interspersed into the vendor area.

How long before I know if my application has been approved?

Vendor applications will be accepted until May 15th 2025. We will be reviewing them within 2 weeks of that date.

Do you accept food vendors?

We will not be accepting food vendors at our upcoming event. Instead, we will prioritize supporting the on-site concession stand and fully licensed eatery.

I didn't get confirmation of my application?

Please check your spam/junk folder as it may of gone there (if the correct email was entered in the application).

I think I made a mistake on my application (wrong information, etc)

Do not submit a new application. Use the contact us form on the website to ask for a change - duplicate applications will be deleted.
